Payments with payment cards at post offices
In the Poczta Polska outlets, the residents of Katowice, Poznań and Warsaw most often use. Among the most popular non -cash services, they most often choose postal services, including a fee for postage stamps - such conclusions result from the "research of the payment preferences of postal clients" .
The study was conducted in 291 post offices on February 18 - March 1 this year. The points were checked with more than 300 non -cash transactions in January. Among voivodship cities, the inhabitants of Katowice, Poznań, Warsaw, Krakow and Wrocław most often use the payment card. Customers in Opole, Kielce and Gorzów Wielkopolski used the least.
The study shows that customers most often pay by card for postal services (48%) and commercial goods (19.6%). Poczta Polska made it possible to pay with a payment card in June 2016. Accepts payments with Visa and Mastercard cards, including implemented in non -diastolic technology and BLIK mobile payments. Card holders of foreign banks can make a convenient payment in the card currency (DCC service).
In addition to non -cash payments, a wide range of services at POS terminals is carried out in post offices, among them:
- Cash-back as part of card payment (service thanks to which the customer can conveniently pay small amounts of money in a post office-up to PLN 300 Visa cards, up to PLN 500 MasterCard cards),
- cash payment - a service targeted at people who often use the possibility of paying cash in a window (not only to pay for services) and to the inhabitants of smaller towns for whom the post office is closer and more convenient than the ATM,
- top-up mobile phones, including such mobile operators as: T-Mobile, Heyah, Tak-Tak, Orange, Nju Mobile, Plus, Play, Telegrosik, Lycamobile and Virginmobile,
- Sales of vouchers - distribution of unique characters' combinations (electronic code), allowing you to make payments on websites, including for services or delivery.
