Poczta Polska has activated a crisis team in connection with the situation in Ukraine
Due to the situation in Ukraine, Poczta Polska, which plays a significant role in the country's critical infrastructure, yesterday activated a special Crisis Management Team and launched local crisis teams for the eastern and northeastern voivodeships. Today, the Team met to identify the most important tasks related to the company's ongoing operations.
The Team comprises representatives from key company units in areas such as logistics, digital resources, sales, bank payments, security, HR, and communications. The Team's goal is to monitor emerging threats, minimize the risk of crisis situations, and ensure a more effective, coordinated response to adverse events. The Team's decisions and actions will be based on current social, legal, and organizational conditions. The Company will provide ongoing updates on these developments through its communication channels – the website www.poczta-polska.pl and social media.
The Polish Post Office is an enterprise of particular economic and defense importance, performing tasks for the benefit of state defense, as well as an operator of critical infrastructure and an entity playing an important role in the state security system.
Poczta Polska, as the only postal operator, also performs tasks related to cooperation with the Military Field Post and participates in the mobilization of the Polish Armed Forces. A significant number of its employees are soldiers of the Territorial Defense Force and Polish Army reservists.
Currently, Poczta Polska serves as the designated operator, ensuring the secure exchange of information in times of peace, crisis, and war. It is the largest infrastructure company in Poland, with a network of 7,600 post offices and 70,000 employees, including Ukrainians.
The company remains in constant contact with both the services responsible for the country's security and with international partners.

The crisis team at Poczta Polska is currently also analysing the possibilities of assistance for refugees from Ukraine that the Company can provide and support for the Ukrainian post office in connection with the closure of airspace over its eastern neighbour.
