The Polish Post delivers exam tests to schools
For the 20th time, Poczta Polska couriers, as part of the Pocztex service, have delivered nearly 22,000 packages containing exam papers for the Matura exams to schools across the country. Today, the delivery of the exams for eighth-grade students to primary schools was completed.
Poczta Polska is delivering parcels for high school graduates and eighth-graders as part of its Special Campaign. The company has delivered nearly 22,000 parcels containing exam papers for all Matura subjects for students taking the Matura exam, and over 38,000 parcels for eighth-graders.
Approximately 3,500 couriers and postmen were responsible for handling the delivery of exam tests, and in May they delivered parcels to nearly 6,000 secondary schools and 12,000 primary schools.
" Over many years of implementing 'Special Operations,' our company has specialized in delivering parcels whose contents are highly sensitive and strictly confidential. This year's handling of final exams and eighth-grade exams, as every year, thanks to the cooperation of many dedicated units and designated coordinators, went smoothly and without any irregularities. Thus, postal workers once again passed their exam, " said Andrzej Bodziony, Vice President of Poczta Polska.
Pocztex deliveries of exam-related packages are handled according to a customized procedure, ensuring acceptance, processing of sealed containers, and detailed monitoring at every stage of the service. Deliveries are made on exam days, during non-standard hours for Pocztex – 5:00-7:30 – by selected and trained couriers and postmen.
On May 17th, as part of Special Actions, Poczta Polska couriers also delivered packages containing exam papers for legal counsel and barristers to 71 examination boards designated by the Ministry of Justice. In total, nearly 300 packages were delivered to the chairpersons of the boards, in line with customer expectations.
