Poczta Polska will deliver 15 million leaflets about the coronavirus
Nearly 15 million households will receive leaflets with information on what to do if exposed to the coronavirus. Poczta Polska, a strategic state-owned company, will distribute the leaflets.
The free leaflets are part of the government's information campaign on how to deal with the coronavirus. The leaflets will be distributed to post offices and then delivered as unaddressed mail to mailboxes. An additional 5 million leaflets will be distributed to customers. 15,000 informational posters will also be posted in all post offices.
The leaflets contain information on what to do in the event of contact with the disease, as well as the first symptoms that may suggest someone is infected. A total of 25 million such leaflets will be prepared. They will be distributed not only to households and post offices but will also be available at gas stations, bank branches, and insurance companies, among other locations. Both the largest state-owned companies and many smaller businesses have joined the information campaign.
Poczta Polska has the largest network of branches in rural areas and small towns, with nearly 5,300 currently located in towns with populations under 50,000. In total, the company has 7,500 branches nationwide.
