Poczta Polska has introduced another convenience for online customers on its 462nd birthday

300x300_v2On October 18th of this year, Poczta Polska launched a dedicated website for digital customers, poczta-cyfrowa.pl . This gives customers quick and easy access to the most popular digital services, which were previously dispersed across the Poczta Polska Capital Group. Thanks to the new website, customers will pay less for services offered by the company or save time otherwise spent visiting a branch.

During the pandemic, when everyone is urging people to limit contact with others, Poczta Polska (Polish Post) offers customers the opportunity to use many of its services without having to visit post offices or leave home. Customers gain not only time and convenience, but also safety. Furthermore, by using the digital channel, they can pay less for some services or use some completely free of charge. The poczta-cyfrowa.pl is the result of cooperation between Poczta Polska and companies from the Capital Group.

" Exactly 462 years ago, on October 18th, King Sigismund II Augustus founded Poczta Polska. For centuries, the Post Office has provided connectivity to citizens and institutions. The Post Office's mission remains unchanged, but the technology has. Currently, our strategic direction of development is the computerization of services and transformation into a National Digital Operator. The launch of the website is the first step in providing our customers with convenient access to digital postal, financial, and insurance services. The next step will be an application, and then a website for all companies within the Pocztowa Capital Group, " says Tomasz Zdzikot, CEO of Poczta Polska.

The new website allows you to buy a postage stamp or send a postcard, among other things. Customers can also use the website to generate an address label for their parcel and then quickly drop it off at nearly 400 post offices. The new fast-track solution has been introduced in Poland's largest cities, among others. At selected locations, customers sending parcels are served out of turn, and a dedicated window is marked with a special sticker.

" IT and technological development are currently one of the most important challenges for businesses. The pandemic has accelerated the digitization of our lives, and Poczta Polska wants to meet customer expectations by computerizing its services, " says Krzysztof Falkowski, Vice President of Poczta Polska.

The platform also offers customers a range of financial services they can access from the comfort of their home. If they need to send a transfer or money to someone across Poland, they can do so through the new Poczta Polska platform. Customers will also find the option to quickly pay fines there.

For customers interested in quick and easy mail collection, we've made it possible to use eINFO:awizo, which allows them to receive mail notifications electronically instead of on paper, or to request that mail be forwarded to a new address if it's changed. Customers can use these services by using a Trusted Profile, which they use to confirm their identity.

For e-commerce customers, Poczta Polska has implemented access to an e-shop, where customers can find a full range of products for packaging and securing the contents of both letters and parcels. Print enthusiasts will be able to order newspaper subscriptions directly to their mailbox, and philatelists will have quick access to a shop with stamp and postcard collections.

Poczta-cyfrowa.pl also allows you to use insurance and banking services offered by companies from the Poczta Polska Capital Group, i.e. Tourist Insurance or the possibility of taking out a cash loan.

Importantly, the "digital portfolio" of Poczta's services on the  poczta-cyfrowa.pl will change dynamically. Individual tiles will rotate depending on current offers, promotions, interests, and, above all, the expectations of our customers.

The development of digital services is consistent with Poczta Polska's strategic initiatives. These simple and convenient solutions are gaining increasing popularity among customers. We encourage everyone to visit  poczta-cyfrowa.pl .

The launch of the website on Sunday, October 18th, coincided with Poczta Polska's celebrations to mark its next birthday. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, almost all activities were canceled. However, the Polish Post Office is not forgetting its history. As part of the joint commemoration, it also offered—for the first time in its centuries-long history—an open race for all interested parties: the Virtual Polish Post Run.
