Polish Post awarded the Amber of the Polish Economy 2022

On October 10 this year, during the National Economic Summit in Lublin, Poczta Polska received the Amber of the Polish Economy 2022 statuette. The award was accepted on behalf of the company by Krzysztof Falkowski, President of the Management Board.

Poczta Polska was recognized for the consistent and effective implementation of the most important strategic initiatives by implementing development projects that increase the long-term potential and efficiency of the logistics network in Poland and abroad:

"I am honored to receive this important award. I am pleased that our Company's consistent efforts to make Poczta Polska even more modern, market-oriented, and in step with global trends have been recognized," said Krzysztof Falkowski, President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska. "Over the past two years, we have introduced many significant changes to the Company's operations. To increase its competitiveness and market share, Poczta Polska had to invest in logistics, and the State Treasury's increase in share capital, earmarked for the development of the logistics network, allows us to more quickly modernize our hub and transport processes and increase the Company's potential to develop the most promising services – courier, parcel, and pallet services. We are implementing further projects and investments – purchasing modern sorting machines, launching new ones, and modernizing existing sorting plants," emphasized the Company's President.

The National Economic Summit is one of the largest economic and business events in Poland. This year's theme was "State – Economy – Security. War in Europe. Poland Facing New Challenges." The event featured dozens of debates with the participation of experts and practitioners from various industries, as well as academics and representatives of state and local government institutions.

The event focuses on considerations and concepts related to securing the Polish economy during the war in Ukraine.
