Polish Post: customer service during the long May weekend
Post office availability during the May bank holiday period is changing. Post offices will resume operations on May 5th and will serve customers during standard opening hours.
On April 30 (Wednesday), post offices will be open at standard opening hours, except for 24-hour offices, which will be open until midnight on that day.
On May 1 and 3 (Thursday, Saturday) the network of branches remains closed.
On May 2 (Friday), post offices will resume normal business hours, with 24-hour offices resuming operations between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Post offices (including 24-hour offices and those with the longest opening hours in a given voivodeship) will be open until 10:00 p.m.
On May 4 (non-trading Sunday), post offices will resume their normal opening hours for that day, while 24-hour offices will resume their opening hours from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
In addition, post offices located in facilities operating at different opening hours (e.g. ministries, courts, tax offices, municipal offices, shopping centers/malls) will adjust their opening hours to the opening hours of the entities in which they are located.
