The Polish Post paid tribute to the insurgents

_DSC0707On Thursday, August 1 this year in Warsaw, representatives of the Polish Post laid a wreath at the Warsaw Insurgents Monument.

On August 1st, ceremonies commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising were held across Poland. A postal delegation, composed of Przemysław Sypniewski, President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska (Polish Post), Tomasz Janka, Vice President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska (Polish Post), Tomasz Cicirko, Vice President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska (Polish Post), and Andrzej Bodziony, Vice President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska (Polish Post), laid a red and white wreath at the Warsaw Uprising Monument on behalf of all postal workers.

The Warsaw Uprising is remembered in history as one of the most important events shaping Polish identity. It embodied key values ​​such as patriotism, freedom, and determination to resist enemies. The Polish Post Office remembered, still remembers, and will continue to remember the heroism of those days.
