The Polish Post paid tribute to the insurgents
On Saturday, August 1 this year in Warsaw, Tomasz Zdzikot, President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska, paid tribute to the Heroes of the Warsaw Uprising.
On August 1, ceremonies commemorating the 76th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising were held across Poland. Polish Post, represented by its CEO Tomasz Zdzikot, participated in the ceremony in Warsaw's Powiśle district, attended by, among others, Jacek Sasin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Assets, and Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defense.
The Warsaw Uprising is remembered in history as one of the most important events shaping Polish identity. It embodied key values such as patriotism, freedom, and determination to resist enemies. The Polish Post Office remembered, still remembers, and will always remember the heroism of those days.
On August 6, the Polish Post Office will commemorate the 76th anniversary of the establishment of the Scout Field Post.
