Poczta Polska is recording a steady increase in cashless payments
The Poczta Polska network is currently seeing a steady upward trend in cashless transactions. In 2021, Poczta Polska customers completed over 26 million cashless transactions at post offices and with couriers. This form of payment has proven to be a convenient and highly secure solution during the pandemic.
Cashless payments are becoming increasingly popular among customers making purchases at post offices and paying for cash on delivery parcels from couriers.
Poczta Polska customers are positive about the option to pay by card and BLIK. Comparing the number of transactions in 2021 to 2020, mobile payments across the network increased by over 97%, and card payments by 8%. We also observed a significant increase in card transactions year-on-year, up 14%. Cashless payments made available by Poczta Polska improve the user experience and expedite the process of receiving parcels.
Poczta Polska is expanding its cashless payment offerings across its branch network. Thanks to the installed POS terminals, Poczta Polska customers can take advantage of a wide range of services, including: payments in DCC currency, cash withdrawals (up to PLN 5,000), mobile top-ups, cashback, and Paysafecard codes.
