Poczta Polska announces pre-holiday deadlines for sending international parcels
Due to the significant annual increase in parcel and letter traffic before Christmas and New Year, Poczta Polska encourages its customers to send international parcels well in advance. Due to COVID-19, procedures for all operators worldwide have changed, and to ensure timely delivery of parcels sent outside of Poland, it's worth planning your shipment now so that foreign operators can deliver your parcel on time and recipients can enjoy their holiday.
We recommend sending Christmas parcels to European and other non-European countries well in advance according to the suggested schedule:
LETTERS
• priority letter shipments:
– to European countries – until December 4, 2020,
– to the USA and other non-European countries – until November 27, 2020.
DONUTS
• priority postal parcels:
– to European countries – until December 4, 2020,
– to the USA and other non-European countries – until November 27, 2020,
• economical postal parcels:
– to European countries – until November 27, 2020,
– to the USA and other non-European countries – until November 20, 2020.
We would also like to remind you that this year there are restrictions on the countries to which Poczta Polska can send parcels. We are making every effort to enable our customers to exchange correspondence internationally. We are constantly assessing the situation and are in constant contact with foreign postal operators to gradually launch international shipments to additional countries.
