Poczta Polska promotes the mObywatel application
Poczta Polska is joining the campaign initiated by the Ministry of Digital Affairs to promote the mObywatel app. Starting in September, all post offices and branches will be marked with a special sticker indicating that the app can be used at that location. The stickers will be prominently displayed on the entrance doors of the branches.
As a reminder, mObywatel is a free government smartphone app that provides quick access to electronic documents. It's available for iOS and Android. Since April of this year, Poczta Polska customers have been able to confirm their identity when receiving parcels by presenting a document on their mobile device's screen using mObywatel.
Poczta Polska customers can collect common registered and unregistered items (e.g., registered letters, parcels) and non-common registered and unregistered items (e.g., Paczka+, Pocztex, Paczka MINI, hybrid registered mail, and registered business mail). By presenting a document on the mobile device screen in the mObywatel app, customers are no longer required to present their ID card.
