Poczta Polska promotes reading among children

SCP145_druk_referenceJune saw the launch of the latest edition of the "I Read Myself" campaign, an initiative promoting independent reading among young children. Poczta Polska (Polish Post) joined the project and, starting in June, expanded its offerings to include special children's books.

Since June 15th of this year, as part of the "Summer 2020" sales campaign, special publications dedicated to the "I Read to Myself" project have been available at post offices. The offer includes titles at three difficulty levels: 1 – I Put Words Together, 2 – I Put Sentences Together, and 3 – I Swallow Pages. All books are formatted according to methodological recommendations. Particular attention should be paid to the title dedicated to the Post Office – "Envelope with a Cat."

The "I Read Myself" campaign promotes reading among young children. The project's slogan – " I Read Myself! First Grade!"  – highlights the fact that the experiences we gain from reading books allow us to believe that spending time with a book can be enjoyable, active, and creative. Thanks to books, we can more confidently pursue our dreams. This year's campaign is aimed at first-grade primary school students, their teachers, and parents.
