The Polish Post Office promotes the use of post office boxes
Post office boxes are locked boxes used for receiving mail. They are available at nearly 2,000 post offices. For three months, Poczta Polska is reducing the annual fee for new customers by 30%.
A secure mailbox for receiving correspondence at one address
A post office box is a solution for people who want to discreetly, securely, and conveniently collect all their correspondence in one place. This can be done at any convenient time, at any post office of their choice.
At post office boxes, you can collect, among others:
- unregistered shipments,
- registered mail sent without confirmation of receipt (upon written request of the addressee),
- notifications of arrival of registered items, including confirmation of receipt and postal orders,
- copies of newspapers and magazines as part of a press subscription ordered via Poczta Polska.
By purchasing the service, the customer receives a key to their locker. Two people can use the locker. The locker user (an individual) may consent to its shared use by another person (an individual not using the PO box as part of their business).
Lower price and wide availability of lockers
The standard fee for an annual PO box is PLN 90. From May 2nd to July 31st, individuals or entities that have not used this Poczta Polska service in the last 12 months can take advantage of a 30% discount . This promotion is available to legal entities, organizational units without legal personality, individuals conducting business activity, and individuals not conducting business activity with full legal capacity.
Boxes are located in both large cities and small towns, in both large and small post offices. There are currently 1,909 boxes available throughout Poland. They can be used during post office opening hours.
