Poczta Polska is carrying out urgent deliveries of supplies to refugees from Ukraine

Cooperation with RARSPoczta Polska, as the largest logistics company in the country, in cooperation with the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves, is transporting supplies from RARS warehouses to refugees from Ukraine arriving in Poland. These deliveries of the most essential items have been running since February 24th, the first day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Starting February 24th, Poczta Polska (Polish Post) has been handling shipments from the warehouses of the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves (RARS), which are then sent to supply distribution points in the eastern part of the country, including the Podkarpacie and Lublin regions. Thanks to the efficient execution of these tasks, the vast stream of refugees arriving from Ukraine is receiving the most necessary items on an ongoing basis. Those seeking refuge in Poland are receiving items transported by postal workers, including blankets, beds, pillows, clothing, and other necessities related to their new accommodations. Postal deliveries from RARS warehouses to designated destinations are based on currently reported needs. Since February 24th, the company has organized over 30 shipments, and more than a dozen more are planned for Monday, the last day of the month.

" Poczta Polska is a company with extensive logistics resources and experience that allows it to handle shipments in almost any situation, including the most unusual and demanding conditions. Thanks to the company's cooperation with the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves, our neighbors who need urgent assistance after crossing the state border receive it immediately, " emphasizes Tomasz Zdzikot, CEO of Poczta Polska.

It's important to emphasize that this isn't the first contract with the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves that the company has implemented. Since the outbreak of the SARS-Cov-19 virus threat, Poczta Polska has been supporting the Ministry of Health in the distribution of protective equipment. The company performs a range of tasks, including warehousing, packaging, pallet transport, and parcel services. It delivers to hospitals (including temporary hospitals), provincial governors' warehouses, primary healthcare facilities, social welfare homes, blood donation centers, fire departments, police, the Polish Army, and pharmacies. Poczta Polska has also supplied disinfectants to schools and kindergartens.
