Online stores' Black Friday and Cyber ​​Monday offers have been very popular among shoppers for several years now. Online stores are starting to ship ordered products to customers, and Poczta Polska faces the challenge of accepting and delivering the increased number of parcels. This year, the number of parcels sent via Poczta Polska last Monday and Tuesday increased by over 22% compared to last year! Moreover, considering the entire Black Friday week, the number of parcels sent by Poczta Polska increased by over 46%!

Black Friday, followed by Cyber ​​Monday, are annual events that attract shopping enthusiasts seeking deals and promotions. On these days, stores offer significant price reductions on a variety of products, often leading to frenetic shopping and long lines. Therefore, the vast majority of customers are increasingly choosing to shop online. However, this shift in trend poses a challenge for carriers, who must meet the growing demand for parcel delivery and organize an efficient distribution system.

On November 27th, a record number of parcels . There were over 16.8% more than on the same day last year. In turn, on Tuesday, November 28th, the Company saw a nearly 30% compared to the same day in 2022.

For several months now, Poczta Polska has been preparing for the pre-holiday parcel rush. The opening of new warehouses in Ciemne near Radzymin and Opole, and the installation of modern sorting machines in Wrocław, Lublin, and Lisi Ogon are investments that have prepared the company for more efficient parcel handling. Since November 25th, couriers have also been delivering parcels on Saturdays.
