Poczta Polska is expanding its network: 2,000 outdoor machines by 2022.

up_zabki_fot2Poczta Polska is committed to the intensive development of an eco-friendly, convenient, and secure method of sending and receiving parcels. One of its key strategic goals is to provide customers with 2,000 outdoor parcel machines. This is the postal operator's response to the dynamically growing online ordering market in Poland and customer expectations. Ultimately, Poczta Polska will have over 20,000 parcel collection points in the Click &  Collect network by 2022.

Poczta Polska is consistently developing its services, making online shopping collection simple and convenient. The new machines will be installed near post offices, supermarkets and shopping malls, state and local government offices, and within parishes and housing cooperatives. Next year, 500 such machines will be put into operation, with the number expected to quadruple the following year.

" Poczta Polska has made a strategic decision that provides greater convenience for customers and our business partners. The e-commerce market could reach PLN 100-120 billion annually in the coming years. This is twice as much as estimated at the beginning of this year. Poczta Polska is already a leader in the courier market and wants to continue strengthening its position. Secure forms of parcel delivery are becoming increasingly important, which is why Poczta Polska will be expanding its network of automated parcel collection machines, " says Tomasz Zdzikot, CEO of Poczta Polska.

Poczta Polska offers the largest network of collection points in the country, including post offices, Żabka stores, Ruch kiosks and newsstands, and selected Orlen gas stations. This totals 13,000 points. Parcels can also be collected from over 240 machines located in locations such as post offices and Biedronka stores. Currently, 25% of courier shipments are delivered to collection points. Poczta Polska predicts that with the growth of the e-commerce market and the expansion of its network of collection points, including parcel machines, by 2022, up to 50% of parcels will be delivered to collection points and machines.

" The expansion of Poczta Polska's automated parcel collection network will allow customers to choose one of the most convenient ways to receive their parcels. Couriers can deliver e-shopping directly to their address, and customers can also collect their purchases at a selected location: a post office, a Żabka, Orlen, or Ruch partner location, or at a parcel machine. One of Poczta Polska's key differentiators in the courier services market, building our competitive advantage, is our multi-channel delivery, " emphasizes Andrzej Bodziony, Vice President of Poczta Polska.

Poczta Polska plans to simultaneously expand its automated parcel collection and shipping operations by increasing the number of its partner collection and shipping points. Next year, parcels will be available for collection at one of 15,000 locations. By 2022, the network will expand to 20,000 locations.
