Poczta Polska offers its customers a doubled limit on cash withdrawals as part of the cash-back service.
At post offices, customers can now make convenient cash-back payments of up to PLN 1,000.
Cash-back is a banking service available for card payments, allowing customers to withdraw cash at a post office when making purchases. Terminals equipped with this app for cash withdrawals from card payments complement the traditional ATM network and allow cardholders to conveniently and securely withdraw funds at a nearby post office.
Using the service is very simple. When making a card payment, simply inform the cashier operating the POS terminal that you wish to withdraw cash and specify the amount.
As of September 2022, withdrawal limits of up to PLN 1,000 will apply. Previously, the "Pay with a card and withdraw" program allowed only PLN 500, and Visa cards – PLN 300. Poczta Polska offers the maximum withdrawal amount at its branches.
Research from the Cashless Poland Foundation shows that as many as 68% of Poles have heard of cashback, and one in three respondents have already used it. In the second quarter of 2022, the value of cashbacks reached PLN 819.6 million, an increase of PLN 71.9 million compared to the previous quarter, representing a 9.6% increase.
