Poczta Polska enables contactless collection of parcels at Ruch kiosks and kiosks
Poczta Polska, in conjunction with Ruch kiosks and newsstands, has introduced contactless parcel collection. You can now collect your parcel without contact at post offices and PKN Orlen gas stations.
The Pick-up Point network includes approximately 12,000 locations. Customers decide where to deliver their e-shopping. By choosing delivery to Ruch kiosks and newsstands, customers can receive their parcels completely contactlessly. When picking up a parcel, simply provide the seller with the pickup code without having to touch the terminal/PIN pad. The seller will automatically register the code and, if verified, will release the parcel. This is another initiative by Poczta Polska aimed at improving the Pick-up Point service. Contactless and fast parcel pickup increases the feeling of security.
As part of the Pick-up Point network, Poczta Polska, together with its partners, has introduced a number of changes, including:
- Designating special safety zones in post offices to ensure a safe distance can be maintained between customers and employees.
- Installation of protective plexiglass barriers at checkouts at collection points.
- Limiting the number of customers staying at the point at the same time.
- Providing points and employees with the necessary disinfection and personal protective equipment.
- Changing the collection procedure to contactless identity verification at post offices and Orlen petrol stations – the customer only presents an identity document from a safe distance, then the employee writes down the last four digits of the number of the document being verified on the receipt.
- Collection without receipt at post offices and Orlen stations – the customer does not sign and collects the parcel without receipt.
