Poczta Polska simplifies its financial services offering
Starting May 1st of this year, Poczta Polska is introducing changes to its financial services offerings, including bank deposits and money transfers. The new products will be available in two variants: Premium and Standard, which differ in the time it takes for funds deposited at a post office, with the postman, or online to reach the customer. Developed based on an analysis of customer needs and market best practices, the new offering is competitive compared to similar services offered by other providers.
The goal of introducing changes to the financial services offering was to simplify the product offering as much as possible and minimize the number of service options. Starting in May, customers will have an easier time deciding which option they want to use.
Deposits into the bank account
Previously, the service was available in three variants. Starting in May, Poczta Polska will offer it in two options:
- Premium Deposit – made in real time; funds are transferred to the recipient's bank account online,
- Standard Deposit – funds will be transferred to the client’s bank account the next business day.
Poczta Polska guarantees the above-mentioned deadlines regardless of the day and time of payment.*
* with the proviso that the Premium payment service is provided from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday; from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays.)
Payments can be made at post offices (Standard Payment below PLN 1 million, Premium Payment up to PLN 10,000) and from postmen using the Standard Payment (limit PLN 4,500).
Transfers
Previously, the service was available in four variants. Starting in May, the transfer service will be available in two variants:
- Premium Transfer – cash collection within 10 minutes of deposit at any Poczta Polska branch,
- Standard Transfer – cash delivery to the specified address on the next business day from the date of posting.
You can place a transfer at a post office, with a postman (Standard Transfer option), or online (dedicated online service) – without logging in (single transaction) or after logging in (multiple transactions). You can place a Standard Transfer up to PLN 4,500 through the postman. Poczta Polska does not impose any limits on the amount of the transfer when using the service at a post office or online.
The price list for bank deposits for the offered execution time remains unchanged, while the price list for transfers will change due to the modification of the product offer, but the fees for service execution will remain competitive.
