The Polish Post was represented by Vice President Wiesław Włodek, responsible for philately.

" The history of Polish military aviation is full of heroic episodes. Our airmen played an invaluable role in the success of the Polish-Soviet War of 1920. They bravely faced the aggressor in 1939, inflicting significant losses on the Germans. It was the Polish "Karaś" that was the first Allied aircraft to drop bombs on the Nazi murderous machine, on the second day of the barbaric attack on our homeland. Everyone has probably heard of the heroic deeds of Polish airmen during the Battle of Britain. We also proudly recall the success of Franciszek Żwirko and Stanisław Wigura, achieved during the international air competition in Berlin. Today, the Air Force continues this magnificent tradition, constantly guarding Polish airspace and supporting our allies. We want to recognize this service, which is why we have dedicated our postcard to all our airmen, " noted Wiesław Włodek, Vice President of Poczta Polska.

The illustrative section of the card features an image of pilot Franciszek Żwirko and aircraft designer Stanisław Wigura in front of an RWD-6 aircraft, along with the issue name: "Polish Aviation Day." An RWD-6 aircraft in flight is featured along the top edge. The card measures 148 mm x 105 mm and was printed single-sided, offset, on white cardstock in a limited edition of 5,000. A postage stamp depicting an RWD-6 aircraft with registration marks SP-AHN is printed in the upper right corner of the address side. The card was created in close cooperation with the Academic Aviation Association.
