Poczta Polska, in cooperation with Orange, has equipped postmen with over 20,000 new tablets
Poczta Polska (Polish Post) postmen are now using new tablets. This is the result of an agreement between Poczta Polska, Integrated Solutions, and Orange Polska. Year-on-year, the number of electronic delivery confirmations is growing by over 30%.
Over twenty thousand new tablets have already been delivered to Poczta Polska (Polish Post) postal workers. This is the result of the implementation of part of the contract signed in December 2019. Its value exceeds PLN 116 million over three years. Currently, Poczta Polska delivers an average of approximately 5 million parcels per month with electronic confirmation of receipt (EPO) to courts, prosecutors' offices, and other institutions and companies that prefer electronic confirmation.
"The agreement not only provides for the purchase of modern equipment with a set of accessories, but also provides Poczta Polska with full access to a package of maintenance, data transmission, and licensing services," emphasizes Tomasz Zdzikot, President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska. " This is the largest implementation program of its kind in Europe in recent years. This is a huge satisfaction for us, especially since it will significantly improve the work comfort of postmen and the quality of service for our customers, " adds Tomasz Zdzikot.
Customers using EPO receive real-time delivery information. This solution allows customers to receive full information about the pickup date, as well as an image of their signature with biometric features. Thanks to these solutions, customers receive all data about their delivered shipments in an electronic file.

The Mobile Postman project, along with the purchase of equipment and services, are particularly important given the annual increase in the number of parcels with Electronic Confirmation of Receipt. The new equipment will enable Poczta Polska to support this type of delivery for the next three years.
