Poczta Polska introduces formats of letter shipments
Please be advised that from April 1, 2019, the price list of universal services in domestic and foreign trading changes. In the new price list, Poczta Polska changes the approach to the formats of letter shipping in domestic trade.
The new approach to the categorization of letter shipments changes the offer of Poczta Polska and reduces the price list items in the field of letter shipments in national trade. The new offer is related to the change in the preferences of Poczta Polska's clients, who expect other solutions in the era of online purchases.
From April, customers of Poczta Polska will be able to send letter parcels in three new formats - S, M, L, which will depend only on the size of the parcel and its mass.
In the smallest format, i.e. in S format , customers will be able to send shipments up to 500 GI with maximum C5 envelope format up to 2 cm thick.
The average format M will allow customers to send shipments up to 1,000 GI maximum C4 envelope dimension up to 2 cm thick.
The largest L format is intended for shipments of up to 2,000 GI dimensions: the sum of the length, width and height of the parcel cannot exceed 90 cm, with the largest of the dimensions cannot exceed 60 cm.
The formats described above will apply for unregistered and registered shipments and with a declared value only in domestic trade. The category of delivery time, priority and economic, remain unchanged.
The change in the price list of universal services does not include foreign shipments and universal parcels in domestic trade.
