Poczta Polska returns to a zero-emission fleet in cooperation with Arval

Arval Service Lease Polska, a leader in long-term rental and sustainable mobility, has won a tender to supply 25 electric delivery vehicles to Poczta Polska. The total contract value is nearly PLN 4 million. Thanks to the agreement, Poczta Polska will equip its fleet with new MAXUS e-Deliver 3 electric vehicles. The agreement is a continuation of the cooperation between the two companies, which began in 2019.

The implementation of new vehicles is the next stage of modernization of the Poczta Polska fleet and an element of the development strategy implemented to handle parcels more efficiently.

The vehicle rental contract between Poczta Polska and Arval was signed based on a tender awarded in May of this year. The agreement is for a 36-month period and includes a comprehensive service package, vehicle insurance, and seasonal tire replacement. Poczta Polska couriers will use the new vehicles throughout Poland. Poczta Polska will also benefit from the government's "Mój elektrik" (My Electrician) program, and Arval is coordinating the preparation of the relevant applications.

MAXUS e-Deliver 3 vehicles are the first delivery vans designed from the ground up as electric vehicles. This provides a spacious interior and a payload of up to 905 kg. The vehicles are equipped with a 90 kW electric motor and a 50.2 kWh battery. A range of approximately 371 km (WLTP mixed) ensures that the e-Deliver 3 can handle even longer journeys without the need for frequent recharging.

Data from this year's Arval Mobility Observatory "Fleet Barometer" shows that 55% of large companies in Poland plan to expand their commercial vehicle fleets within the next three years. Nearly one in five companies with company cars intends to start using fully electric delivery vehicles within the next three years.

The agreement with Poczta Polska marks another major contract for zero-emission vehicles for the public sector for Arval this year. In May, the company delivered a large batch of 83 electric vehicles ordered by Krakowski Holding Komunalny.
