Poczta Polska supports the construction of a temporary hospital at the National Stadium
On Monday, October 19, Poczta Polska delivered 120 pallets of beds necessary to set up a temporary hospital at the National Stadium in Warsaw. This action is another expression of support from the National Postal Operator, the largest logistics company in the country, for institutions fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
Polish Post vehicles collected 120 pallets of beds from the Material Reserves depots in Wąwał (Łódź Voivodeship) and Szepietowo (Podlaskie Voivodeship), needed to set up a temporary hospital in Warsaw. All deliveries were made under sanitary conditions, adhering to all safety measures related to the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.
" The company continues to support institutions struggling with the coronavirus pandemic. We are available whenever we can help implement projects necessary to combat the virus. Recent deliveries by Poczta Polska clearly demonstrate how important the country's largest logistics company is to Poland and its people. In crisis situations, our company and its employees always rise to the occasion, " emphasized Tomasz Zdzikot, CEO of Poczta Polska.
Last week, the company supported the Ministry of Health in delivering ventilators and cardiac monitors to hospitals across the country. Poczta Polska faces further challenges in the near future: delivering over thousands of pallets of protective equipment (including masks and gloves) to hospitals. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Poczta Polska has completed over 1,500 transport orders as part of the fight against the coronavirus.
Poczta Polska (Polish Post) constantly ensures the safety of its employees and customers. Following all government recommendations, it adapts to current realities and makes every effort to serve you and your citizens during this difficult time.
" Since March of this year, we have implemented a number of procedures. We are constantly ensuring the safety of our employees and customers. We want the company to function as normally as possible, but health is our priority. If it is equally important to all of us, we will be able to cope during this exceptional time, " said Andrzej Bodziony, Vice President of Poczta Polska, who, among other responsibilities, oversees the work of the Coronavirus Threat Monitoring Team.
