Poczta Polska supports patriotic events organized by the Ministry of National Defense

Posters encouraging participation in the Grand Parade in Warsaw and military picnics organized across the country by the Ministry of National Defense to mark Polish Armed Forces Day have appeared in over 4,700 post offices. Poczta Polska will also open a stand at the National Stadium in Warsaw on August 15th as part of the upcoming celebrations.

"Strong White and Red. Polish Army Day" – this is the slogan under which the Central Celebrations of Polish Army Day and the 103rd anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw will take place from August 12th to 15th. Information about the event has been included on posters advertising the event. After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the largest Polish Army parade will return, featuring 200 units of Polish and foreign military equipment and 92 aircraft accompanied by 2,000 soldiers. Soldiers from all branches of the Polish Armed Forces will showcase state-of-the-art equipment, manufactured in Poland, South Korea, and the United States, acquired in recent years.

In addition, nearly 70 military picnics will be held across the country. The aim of the event is not only to celebrate the great victory of the Polish military in the Battle of Warsaw (1920), but also to educate the public, promote the history and tradition of the Polish military, and patriotic attitudes. As part of the celebration, Poczta Polska invites you to visit its special philatelic stand at Warsaw's National Stadium on August 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., where military-themed items issued by the company in recent years will be on display.

Poczta Polska, as a national operator with a strategic role for the state, collaborates with numerous public institutions, including the Ministry of National Defense. The company participated, among other things, in the information campaign conducted by the Ministry of National Defense, related to the entry into force of the Homeland Defense Act. Poczta Polska also launched the "Shoulder to Shoulder with Territorial Defense Forces" program, the key elements of which include the participation of postal workers in building universal readiness to defend the territory of the Republic of Poland within the ranks of the Territorial Defense Force. At the beginning of 2022, Poczta Polska also joined the "Fight against Disinformation" campaign conducted by the Ministry of National Defense. It is worth noting that at that time, posters and leaflets warning against the dissemination of information that could threaten the security of Poland and Poles were placed in approximately 4,700 post offices.

Poczta Polska systematically supports information campaigns organized by the state and its agencies. The company has been involved in, among other things, publicizing announcements prepared by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) ("Count and don't miscalculate!" – a call for prudent investment and financial decision-making), the Polish Safer Internet Center (online safety), the Police (fraud related to money extortion), and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA ("Safe Crossing"). It has also actively participated in the #WallBehindPolishMundurem campaign and the promotion of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
