The Polish Post Office supports the injured postman

Logo_level_302x159On June 10th of this year, a gas explosion collapsed the single-family home of a Polish Post Office postman in Chodel. Two people died in the tragedy: the postman's wife and her father. He was pulled from the rubble. He is in serious condition and is fighting for his life after surgery.

The gas explosion destroyed all the family's belongings. The house and all its furnishings were destroyed. What remained was beyond repair and was demolished on the orders of the construction services. The family lost not only the house but also everything inside: furnishings, electronics, and clothing.

Almost immediately after learning of the tragedy, the Polish Post Office launched a program to help the family of the Polish Post postman. A payment from the Company Social Benefits Fund was quickly made. As is typical in such cases, the family will also be supported by the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation.

We're also asking everyone with a big heart to help the Polish Post Office postman and his family. Every penny counts. That's why the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation has opened a special sub-account – 36 1320 1104 3014 4239 2000 0005 – from which the funds will be used exclusively to help the injured postman.

The family has also launched a fundraiser on zrzutka.pl. The link to the fundraiser can be found here .
