Polish Post with the "Responsible and Friendly Employer" award

Friendly employer wwwPoczta Polska has been awarded the PFR "Responsible and Friendly Employer" program. This distinction recognizes entrepreneurs who have committed to implementing Employee Capital Plans (PPK) in their companies and achieved high employee participation rates. At Poczta Polska, this rate is almost 40% and has remained at a similar level since the company implemented PPK. Poczta Polska employees choose this form of accumulating and multiplying additional funds for their retirement years.

Poczta Polska, a company employing approximately 70,000 people, was among the first companies to implement Employee Capital Plans (PPKs) – the first agreements to operate PPKs were signed in November 2019. Preparations for this process began a year earlier, even before the Employee Capital Plans Act came into force. These included adapting HR, payroll, and financial systems to support PPKs, as well as an information campaign aimed at employees, implemented in cooperation with the Polish Development Fund (PFR). Internal communication focused primarily on key information about PPKs. The goal of the extensive communication activities and accompanying training was to provide knowledge that would enable informed decisions about voluntary, long-term savings for the future.

" The Employee Capital Plans (PPK) is one of the benefits we offer to Poczta Polska employees. By investing small amounts, and with the support of their employer and the government, employees can save and grow their money for the future. We're pleased that so many employees are thinking about their future. We hope that the activities we've conducted and are conducting regarding the Employee Capital Plans (PPK) significantly influence their decisions, " says Andrzej Bodziony, Vice President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska.

In addition to the possibility of joining the Employee Capital Plans (PPK), Poczta Polska offers a number of other benefits for employees: the possibility of using subsidies for holidays under the Company Social Benefits Fund, subsidies for university studies and foreign language learning, season tickets and passes to sports and cultural facilities, housing loans and allowances for employees, group life insurance and the possibility of obtaining assistance from the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation (parcels for employees in need, subsidies for the purchase of medicines and rehabilitation, assistance for victims of natural disasters).

Poczta Polska is an employer recognized by external institutions. For six consecutive years, it has received the "Highest Quality HR" award from the Polish Human Resources Management Association, granted to companies with the highest standards of human capital management. Last year, it also won first place in the 15th edition of the Icebreakers competition at the regional level (Łódź, Mazovia, Greater Poland, and West Pomeranian Voivodeships) and was the winner of the same competition at the national level, taking second place in the Open Market category.
