Poczta Polska is strengthening its cooperation with Żabka in the field of parcel handling.

Poczta Polska has signed a new agreement with Żabka Polska Sp. z o.o., establishing a direct business partnership. The companies have implemented a technological integration that will streamline customer service for collecting and sending parcels at the retail chain's stores. Importantly, similar solutions will be implemented in the future in collaboration with other partners.

Direct agreement – ​​the future standard of cooperation with Poczta Polska

Żabka is the first entity with which Poczta Polska has technologically integrated. This type of collaboration in parcel handling – without the involvement of intermediaries – will ultimately become standard in collaborations with other partners as well. The work carried out jointly with Żabka Polska Sp. z o.o. will certainly facilitate the implementation of similar solutions with other retail chains where customers can collect and send parcels delivered by Poczta Polska.

Under the new cooperation model, the operating systems of Poczta Polska and Żabka will communicate directly. The transition from a three-way cooperation model to a two-way (direct) model will not impact the customer experience. All existing processes related to sending and receiving parcels will continue as before.

Direct cooperation between Poczta Polska and retail chains offers a range of benefits for both parties. These include increased efficiency, better control over operations, and the ability to respond more quickly to customer needs. Such collaboration also fosters the exchange of ideas and best practices, leading to increased innovation and the creation of new products and services.

Poczta Polska customers most often collect and send parcels at Żabka

Poczta Polska offers customers various options for using parcel services:

  • Pocztex PUNKT – through post offices and partner points,
  • Pocztex KURIER – with delivery to the specified address,
  • Pocztex AUTOMAT – with delivery to a network of parcel machines, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With Pocztex PUNKT, customers can choose from over 18,000 locations across Poland where they can send and receive parcels, including post offices. Partner locations include Żabka stores and Eurocash Group locations: ABC, Lewiatan, Delikatesy Centrum, Groszek, Arhelan, Duży Ben, and Euro Sklep.

Currently, among all its partner locations, Poczta Polska customers most frequently choose Żabka stores. As of February of this year, there are over 11,000 stores – in city centers, shopping malls, and smaller towns. According to data provided by Żabka Polska Sp. z o.o., over 17 million Poles live within 500 meters of the nearest Żabka store.

Poczta Polska strives to make collecting, sending, or returning a parcel through their services a simple and hassle-free experience for customers. This can be done quickly, conveniently, and close to home or work, while also attending to other matters. Poczta Polska has been cooperating with Żabka Polska Sp. z o.o. since 2017, systematically strengthening their relationship and expanding the range of postal services available to those who visit their stores.
