Poczta Polska has concluded an agreement with the Activation Foundation

Increasing the employment of people with disabilities is one of Poczta Polska's strategic goals for 2020–2024. The company has entered into an agreement with the Activation Foundation as part of the PFRON Work-Integration project. Recruitment has begun across Poland.

In its revised strategy, the postal operator has planned several key initiatives related to corporate social responsibility. In addition to pro-environmental initiatives, one of the directions is to further increase the employment of people with disabilities in various positions within the company.

Since July 2018, Poczta Polska has been implementing a "Policy for Employment of Persons with Disabilities," which is based on several assumptions. The most important of these is that, in addition to the economic dimension, social and environmental factors should be considered in the recruitment process.

The Foundation not only provides recruitment services for these individuals but also provides professional training for candidates. In addition to recruiters, the project also involves career counselors, psychologists, and job crafters, whose responsibilities include monitoring the candidate's employment during their initial period of employment. In addition to searching for candidates, the Foundation also supports the Post Office in education on how to manage the work of people with disabilities, and conducts training for managers on understanding disability in the context of employment and the principles of etiquette when interacting with people with various disabilities.

As part of the Work-Integration Program organized by the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON), Poczta Polska (Polish Post) employed 411 people between March 2018 and December 2019. The vast majority of new employees became postmen (182), customer service representatives (106), and parcel sorting workers (66). This year, the Foundation plans to hire another 360 candidates in cooperation with the Foundation.

Over the past five years, the number of people with disabilities employed at Poczta Polska has increased by nearly 1,000. At the end of December 2014, the company's employment rate was 1.03%. At the end of 2019, the company employed 1,810 people with recognized disabilities, and the employment rate was 2.22%. In 2019, Poczta Polska received the Trustworthy Employer title in the Disability-Friendly Company category.
