Poczta Polska has a special offer for customers using online services.
Poczta Polska is increasing the number of branches with special, dedicated windows for digital customers using parcel services. Parcels sent online via the Electronic Sender system or the Envelo platform will be processed faster at 550 post offices across Poland. Parcels sent with the Pick-Up Point option will also be more efficiently collected at specially marked windows.
The Polish Post Office is focusing on making things easier for online customers. That's why, a month after introducing the new solution, on November 2nd of this year, the Post Office is expanding its list of branches with "fast track" counters. The solution has been introduced in Poland's largest cities, among others. In addition to the additional counters in Warsaw, Wrocław, Bydgoszcz, and Szczecin, customers will also be able to use special counters in other cities, including Grajewo, Chełmno, Chojnice, Pińczów, and Świdnik. Each dedicated counter is marked with a special sticker so that it can be quickly identified in the office with the largest number of them. A detailed list of counters can be found here .
"We're introducing further improvements for our customers who value convenience and time. This is especially true for those ordering online. With their convenience in mind, we've introduced dedicated windows, because visiting the post office should be a pleasure. We're proving that our branches offer quick and modern solutions. This is especially important this time of year. Before Christmas, the ability to efficiently send and receive packages with gifts is crucial. The development of e-commerce is of strategic importance to Poczta Polska, which is why we're expanding the list of branches offering special services," says Andrzej Bodziony, Vice President of Poczta Polska.
Poczta Polska's new offer will be available to individual customers collecting parcels through the Pick-Up Point service, those sending parcels via the Envelo digital platform, those using the Electronic Sender system, or those using the Nadaj działkę (Send a Parcel) app. The new solution also allows for convenient shipments without the need to print an address label themselves. In this case, customers simply provide the parcel number registered in the Poczta Polska app, and a postal employee will print the address label for them. The new offer will also be available to those who wish to return a purchase they didn't like. This is a particularly beneficial solution for those who don't have a printer.
Poczta Polska expects further record-breaking parcel handling this year during the pre-holiday period. Last year, the number of parcels handled steadily increased during November and December, and in the record-breaking week in December, Poczta Polska customers shipped over 75% more parcels than the average weekly average during other times of the year. This season could see a similar pattern, and in December, postal workers expect days when the number of parcels handled could exceed one million.
