Poczta Polska, the largest logistics and infrastructure company in the country, is taking a number of actions to support those most affected by the flooding. In cooperation with the Federation of Polish Food Banks, the company will transport food to areas affected by the state of natural disaster.

The assistance is available in Lower Silesia and the Opole region. Poczta Polska, in cooperation with the Federation of Polish Food Banks, systematically responds to reported needs. The Federation of Polish Food Banks is a community of independent non-governmental organizations comprising 31 food banks operating across the country.

" Poczta Polska, as one of the largest companies operating in Poland, with unique infrastructure and logistics capabilities nationwide, continues to provide aid to flood victims. We realize that this assistance will be needed long after the immediate flood threat has passed," emphasizes Joanna Trzaska-Wieczorek, spokesperson for Poczta Polska.

As with previous natural disasters, pandemics, and other emergencies that have hit Poland, Poczta Polska has launched a range of initiatives to support affected residents. To ensure citizens have access to basic official services, the company launched emergency and mobile postal points for residents of flood-affected or threatened areas on September 17th. It delivers pensions and disability benefits to residents of flood-affected areas and will also transfer fees collected from payments made at Poczta Polska branches to organizations providing aid to flood victims. It also participates in central and local aid initiatives.

The company is also actively contributing to flood relief efforts. Polish Post employees affected by the flood can report their needs and requests for financial, material, and logistical assistance. A fundraising campaign has also been launched – postal workers can donate money to flood victims through the "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation.
