Poczta Polska is increasing the employment of people with disabilities
Poczta Polska is recruiting more people with disabilities as part of its professional activation program. The employment rate for people with disabilities at Poczta Polska currently stands at 2.28%. This year alone, the company has already employed 58 people under the "Work – Integration" program. It plans to hire over six times that number by the end of the year.
Since 2018, Poczta Polska has been participating in the Work – Integration program. Under the latest cooperation agreement with PFRON and the "Aktywizacja" Foundation, the company plans to employ a total of 360 people with disabilities this year as postmen, postal service workers, and sorting center employees. These initiatives are consistent with Poczta Polska's strategy as a socially responsible company that prioritizes equal opportunities.
After a break caused by the epidemic, recruitment at Poczta Polska has started again for operational positions, including the employment of candidates with disabilities obtained by specialized recruiters from the Activation Foundation.
In recent years, the number of people with disabilities employed at Poczta Polska has increased by nearly 1,000. At the end of December 2014, the Company's employment rate was just 1.03%. At the end of 2019, Poczta Polska employed 1,810 people with disabilities, and the employment rate was 2.22%.
