Over 100,000 free starter kits from Orange at post offices

1190-670_11.03The Polish Post Office is supporting the distribution of free starter kits for Ukrainian citizens. Orange SIM cards, along with activated minutes and internet packages, can be picked up at post offices and branches.

The number of Ukrainian citizens in Poland is growing. Many of them came to Poland fleeing the war. Their families and loved ones were often left behind in their homeland, attacked by the Russians. The goal of this new initiative by Orange Polska and Poczta Polska is to provide Ukrainians with the ability to contact family and friends. The mobile and postal operators recognize the importance of maintaining bonds and relationships with loved ones in such difficult times.
Orange has prepared 110,000 free starter SIM cards for Ukrainian citizens, which are now available for pickup at Poczta Polska offices and branches. Each package includes 100 free minutes to Ukraine, unlimited calls, SMS, and MMS to anywhere in Poland, and 30 GB of free data.

Free starter kits for the card have been configured to allow immediate use after registration. A maximum of three starter kits can be obtained with a single document. Information leaflets in Ukrainian will also be available at Poczta Polska branches.

Poczta Polska has engaged in a number of initiatives to help Ukraine, including those supporting victims of the war in Ukraine and refugees. The Polish operator supports the Ukrainian Post, for example, by waiving fees for money transfers to Ukraine, providing urgent supplies to refugees from Ukraine, and offering passenger transport, cargo logistics, over 200 beds, and employment opportunities for refugees.
