Agreement between ZUS, Poczta Polska and KRUS to support the processing of applications for the 300+ benefit

up_krakow_1_2The presidents of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), Poczta Polska (Polish Post), and the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) have signed letters of intent, which will allow selected Post Office and KRUS branches to provide assistance in submitting electronic applications for the 300+ benefit under the "Good Start" program. ZUS staff will assist interested parties.

"GOOD START" program will be open . Under the program, parents, regardless of income, can receive a one-time 300 PLN grant to purchase textbooks, notebooks, student supplies, and other equipment necessary for all students enrolled in primary schools, high schools, post-secondary schools, and other educational institutions until they turn 20, or 24 for those with disabilities.

This year, applications can be submitted from July 1st to November 30th only electronically , via the ZUS Electronic Services Platform (PUE), the Empatia portal, or through the online banking services of banks that offer this option. ZUS will award and pay out 300+ benefits under this year's "GOOD START" program.

Due to the change in the method of submitting applications (previously it was also possible to submit applications on a paper form), the Social Insurance Institution has started cooperation with Poczta Polska and the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund, which is intended to facilitate the submission of applications for those who may have difficulties with electronically applying for benefits under the "GOOD START" program.

Based on signed letters of intent, ZUS employees will be on duty at selected Poczta Polska and KRUS offices. During their shifts, ZUS employees will set up profiles on PUE ZUS for interested parties and assist them in submitting applications for benefits under the "GOOD START" program through PUE ZUS. Such assistance will also be available at ZUS offices and other selected locations with which ZUS will cooperate in this regard.

ZUS employees will be present at selected Polish Post and Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) offices across the country. Poczta Polska has begun collaborating with ZUS to open selected post offices to ZUS consultants, increasing access for digitally excluded individuals to submit applications for the "Good Start" program.
