Businesses can deposit cash at post offices. Poczta Polska SA and Bank Pekao SA are beginning cooperation.
Poczta Polska SA has entered into a cooperation agreement with Bank Pekao SA. The agreement allows businesses to make cash payments at post offices across the country. Thanks to these actions, customers will gain maximum access to payment solutions.
Due to the nature of its business, Poczta Polska consistently builds partnerships with and between its customers. Thanks to its partnership with Poczta Polska, Bank Pekao SA is expanding its cash handling network, enabling businesses to make deposits to bank accounts at post offices.
The signing of the agreement is a response to a general market trend where banks are expanding their branch networks with partner branches. This is related to the changing needs of customers, especially those in the SME sector, who, despite increasingly using cashless methods, also require cash services to run their businesses.
The cooperation between Poczta Polska and Bank Pekao allows customers with regular cash surpluses to deposit funds not only at bank branches but also at post offices nationwide. Fees for cash deposits will be negotiated with the customer and settled monthly, eliminating transaction fees at the post office. Funds from accepted deposits will be credited to the customer's account the next business day after they are accepted.
