Pre-holiday deadlines for sending international parcels
Due to the annual increase in the number of parcels handled by postal operators during the holiday season, Poczta Polska encourages sending parcels well in advance, especially those addressed to non-European countries.
Poczta Polska, after consultation with foreign operators, recommends sending parcels:
- to the USA and other non-European countries – until December 7,
- to European countries – until December 14.
Since November 25th, Poczta Polska has been delivering parcels not only during the week but also on Saturdays. For now, weekend deliveries are being delivered to customers in selected large cities. Sunday deliveries have also begun in Warsaw since December 3rd. As Christmas approaches, the number of locations to which parcels will be delivered on weekends will increase.
