We have already delivered over 50,000 cards to the uniformed services guarding the Polish-Belarusian border.
As part of the #WallBehindPolishUniform campaign, Polish Post offices can send expressions of support and appreciation to Border Guard and Police officers, as well as Polish Army soldiers serving on the Polish-Belarusian border. To date, the Polish Post has collected and distributed over 50,000 cards, well-wishes, and multi-format compositions to uniformed services, received from people across the country. The collection is ongoing.
At every post office and branch office across the country, you can still drop off cards or handmade works of any size, expressing symbolic support, gratitude, and thanks to the uniformed services for their dedicated work on the Polish-Belarusian border. Poczta Polska also provides 20 post offices in Poland's largest cities, which have dedicated and specially marked containers for collected cards and cards. These are delivered free of charge to border posts.
The Polish Post Office announced the #WallBehindPolishUniform campaign on November 11th of this year. Starting November 15th, it opened its nationwide network of 4,700 post offices to collect donations from citizens across the country. On December 4th of this year, at the garrison of the 18th Mechanized Division in Biała Podlaska, a ceremony was held to mark the company's handover of the first batch of collected items. The campaign is still ongoing and you can join it.
Rules of the action:
- we do not put a stamp on the cards ;
- instead of the address, enter the slogan: "To the Defenders of the Border" ;
- you can additionally indicate specific people or the name of the unit in which they serve in uniform, to whom we address our words of support;
- do not send parcels in closed envelopes , as such will not be delivered by the Company as part of the campaign;
- we do not provide money or any items – only works of art, large-format compositions, cards, greetings and wishes will be provided;
- cards or greetings should be handed in at the post office window in one of the 4,700 post offices (offices or branches, but not at a postal agency) or placed in a dedicated container.
