The entity that requested assistance from the Polish Post is Ukraine's largest bank, PrivatBank. Having a specialized fleet of vehicles for cash transport is crucial not only for this financial institution but also for residents who need cash to pay for essential goods.

The realities of the war in Ukraine have significantly tightened the security requirements for cash transporters for financial institutions operating in the country. Therefore, Poczta Polska (Polish Post) decided to help ensure the stability of this service. To this end, the Polish company donated seven armored cash transport vehicles to PrivatBank, the largest bank in Ukraine.

" Polish Post guarantees the continued operation of the state, and the safe transport of cash is a crucial element. Given the wartime circumstances Ukraine is currently facing, this process is particularly important. That's why we decided to support PrivatBank and provide specialized vehicles for cash transport, " said Tomasz Zdzikot, CEO of Polish Post.

The authorities of the Ukrainian PrivatBank expressed their gratitude for the support provided.

" I would like to express my gratitude to Poczta Polska for donating specialized cash vans and preparing all the necessary documents that enabled the transport of the vehicles to Ukraine. This assistance will strengthen our ability to deliver cash to branches and ATMs during this difficult period. At the same time, I would like to emphasize that I am personally touched and impressed by how quickly Poczta Polska responded to our request, and I would like to thank you for the excellent communication, cooperation, and personal commitment of your managers to this project, " said Mariusz Kaczmarek, Vice President of PrivatBank Ukraine.

A representative of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority emphasizes how important it is to maintain the continuity of cash circulation in the economy.

" Following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) identified the need to support the infrastructure and maintain operational continuity of the Ukrainian banking sector, so that its customers could continue to use its services as uninterruptedly as possible. One key element of this process is ensuring the continuity of cash supplies to bank branches. Poczta Polska's support for PrivatBank in the form of the provision of ATM vehicles is a wonderful gesture of solidarity towards our neighbors who have found themselves in a difficult situation, " said Krzysztof Dąbrowski, Managing Director of the Organization and Management Division at the KNF.

It's worth noting that Poczta Polska Ochrona is a specialized unit operating within Poczta Polska, providing cash logistics services, convoying, stationary physical protection, technical security and monitoring, and training services in civil aviation security. Modern technical and organizational solutions, along with its resources, enable flexible adaptation of services to the individual needs of clients, including military units, state institutions, and businesses, including banks.

Poczta Polska employs nearly 2,800 qualified employees and has the largest network in Poland – 40 Cash Service Centers (CSCs). The company also has its own fleet of specialized vehicles for transporting money and other valuables.
