We presented the military and services guarding the Polish-Belarusian border with the thanks of Poles as part of the #WallBehindPolishUniform campaign

361At all Polish Post offices across the country, you can drop off cards expressing support and appreciation for the soldiers of the Polish Army, as well as Border Guard and Police officers who have been serving on the Polish-Belarusian border for weeks. The official handover of the several thousand works collected so far took place on December 4th in Biała Podlaska, home to one of the garrisons of the 18th Mechanized Division, established by a decision of the Minister of National Defense in 2018 to defend the eastern territory of Poland.

The ceremony was attended by General Jarosław Gromadziński, Major General of the Polish Army, Colonel Łukasz Ćwik, Deputy Commander of the Nadbużański Border Guard Unit, Dariusz Chmielowiec, Deputy Provincial Police Commander in Lublin, and Tomasz Zdzikot, President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska.

" The Polish Post's campaign to deliver thanks and expressions of appreciation to our soldiers and officers serving on the country's eastern border has generated a great deal of interest. Kind words are pouring in from all over Poland. There's no shortage of both longer letters and classic postcards with greetings. We're also receiving touching artwork created by children, often touching. I sincerely encourage everyone who hasn't done so yet and would like to express their gratitude to the soldiers and officers serving on the Polish-Belarusian border to deliver them free of charge. We will proudly deliver them, ensuring they reach the border units efficiently and safely, " said Tomasz Zdzikot, President of the Management Board of Polish Post.

Since November 15th, Poczta Polska has been participating in the nationwide #WuremZaPolskimMundurem campaign, supporting uniformed services defending our country's borders and ensuring the safety of all Poles. In just two weeks, thousands of expressions of gratitude from citizens have been received at 4,700 post offices.

" I sincerely thank the Polish Post for this important initiative. Today we received tangible proof of sympathy and gratitude for the uniformed services, including us, the soldiers. This means a lot to us. Many of these cards are made with enormous commitment and heart—by hand, with a lot of time invested. Thank you! We felt the support of the public. Above all, thank you for the Christmas cards sent now, in the run-up to this special and important time. The Christmas wafers in the cards mean a lot to us, " said Jarosław Gromadziński, Major General of the Polish Army.

" This operation is very important to us. We would especially like to thank the children who performed so much work, " said Colonel Łukasz Ćwik, deputy commander of the Nadbużański Border Guard Unit.

" On behalf of the Police, I would like to thank you for these St. Nicholas Day gifts and expressions of appreciation. I am convinced that these words of support are important to thousands of police officers. I would like to thank everyone who made these cards, " said Dariusz Chmielowiec, Deputy Provincial Police Commander in Lublin.

It's worth remembering that at every post office and branch office nationwide, you can drop off cards or handmade works of any size, expressing symbolic support, gratitude, and thanks to the uniformed services for their dedicated work on the Polish-Belarusian border. Poczta Polska is also providing 20 post offices in Poland's largest cities, which will have dedicated and specially marked containers for collected cards and cards. These will be delivered free of charge to border posts.

Rules of the campaign:
· do not put a stamp on the cards;
· instead of the address, enter the slogan: "Obrońcom Granicy" (For the Defenders of the Border);
· you can also indicate specific people or the name of the unit in which they serve, those to whom you are addressing words of support;
· do not hand over addressed parcels or in closed envelopes, as such will not be delivered by the Company as part of the campaign;
· cards or cards should be handed in at the post office window in one of the 4,700 post offices (offices or branches, but not in a postal agency) or placed in a dedicated container.
