An ordinary mistake could end in a tragedy. When the postman from Rzeszów came with a pension to the old lady, he noticed that she was strangely pale. After a while, the 84-year-old fell to the ground and got a convulsion. A vigilant post office immediately called an ambulance that took the pensioner to the hospital. It turned out that expired drugs that the senior took to such a dramatic reaction.
Bartłomiej Oczoś has recently been working as a postman. But he has already demonstrated great empathy and readiness to move a needy retirement to the rescue.
He came with a pension
The senior living in Rzeszów was very unlucky that day and even greater happiness. The old lady has taken over -date medications, which caused her to get to the hospital. But if not for the postman's visit, everything could end worse.
That day, Mr. Bartłomiej, as usual, delivered shipments and messages in his area. One of the points was the tenement house, where the 84-year-old lives. During the transfer of the pension, something happened that put the postman in a situation requiring a quick response.
- This lady looked a bit pale at the door, but we talked about the weather for a while and there was no indication that something would happen. When I gave her cash, she began to turn around, suddenly lost her balance and fell - says Bartłomiej Oczoś. And he adds: - I entered the apartment, helped this lady sit down and assessed that you had to call an ambulance .
The post office kept cold. He immediately called an ambulance, secured cash from his pension and watched at the old lady until the rescuers came, talking to her and ensuring that she would not lose consciousness.
Family gratitude and words of appreciation
The pensioner family learned about this drama from paramedics. In a conversation with doctors, it turned out that the senior took accidentally expired drugs that led to a decrease in pressure, dizziness and convulsions. She was hospitalized for a few days. Fortunately, thanks to quick intervention, everything ended well.
The family sent thanks to the post office where Mr. Bartłomiej works. " The behavior of Mr. Postman in this situation deserves the highest level of gratitude and a special distinction from my grandmother and my whole family," wrote the grandson of the senior.
