Recruitment of customs and tax service employees lasts until April 30 this year.
The Polish Post's recruitment campaign, "Work with us and develop in customs services," will run until the end of April, covering positions such as customs documentation. Those interested in this position can complete the application form by the end of April.
New EU customs and tax regulations for shipments from outside the EU will come into effect on July 1, 2021. Poczta Polska is recruiting under the slogan: "Work with us and develop in customs services." These recruitment opportunities apply to Warsaw and Lublin. Poczta Polska expects knowledge of customs regulations and regulations concerning the collection of customs and tax duties (or a willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills in this area), but it provides future employees with appropriate training and professional development within Poczta Polska. On July 1, 2021, the so-called "VAT e-commerce package" will come into effect, and Poczta Polska will take over the process of submitting electronic import customs declarations. This will make the company a "tax gateway" between the EU and countries beyond its borders, primarily China.
Who can apply for the Customs Documentation position?
This position is open to candidates with a minimum secondary education, at least six months of professional experience—preferably in postal logistics—who are familiar with customs regulations and the regulations governing the collection of customs duties and taxes. This knowledge and skills can also be acquired through training. A basic knowledge of written English is also desirable. The position is open to both Postal Service employees who are willing to retrain, as well as external candidates. The Postal Service offers over 160 positions at its Lublin sorting facility at 2 Moritza Street and 270 positions at its Warsaw sorting facility.
