Pre-Christmas recruitment at the Polish Post Office has started!
As usual, the Polish Post Office (Poczta Polska) is recruiting additional staff before Christmas, during a period of increased shopping activity. This year, we're looking for up to several hundred people. We're looking for sorting plant workers, drivers of loads up to and over 3.5 tons, and couriers delivering parcels nationwide.
November and December are the busiest months for e-commerce. With the holidays of St. Nicholas Day, Christmas, and New Year's Eve upon us, customers around the world are in a frenzy of shopping. For logistics and courier companies, including Poczta Polska, this means increased traffic and the processing of a record number of orders. To efficiently cope with these challenges, additional hands are needed to sort, transport, and deliver parcels.
Working in a sorting facility doesn't require qualifications or experience. Drivers require a driver's license of the appropriate category (allowing them to drive vehicles up to or over 3.5 tons). Couriers are often expected to have their own vehicle.
Seasonal work offers employment on a contract basis until the end of the year. In some locations, there is the possibility of extending the contract or employing someone under an employment contract. Rates vary depending on the region and the nature of the work. For students, because social security contributions are not deducted from their salaries and income tax (PIT) advances are not collected, the gross rate is equal to the net rate.
Job offers are still available throughout Poland, but employees are particularly sought after in Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań and Kraków/Niepołomice (sorting plant only).
Anyone interested in holiday recruitment can submit an application via the form available on the company's website. Other job offers, not just seasonal ones, can also be found "Jobs/Careers"
