Scanning letters from three addresses in your e-mail box

E_BOX_300x300From today, Poczta Polska customers can register more than one correspondence address in their e-mail account, from which Poczta Polska will forward registered mail to customers in the form of an electronic document.

Due to high customer interest in the service and numerous customer requests, Poczta Polska is expanding its functionality to include additional addresses. Thanks to these changes, each user will now be able to register three mailing addresses from which they will receive correspondence in electronic form.

Detailed information about the service is available in the regulations .

At the end of April this year, during the coronavirus pandemic, Poczta Polska introduced the option of receiving registered mail electronically, without the need for in-person pickup at home or a post office. Registered mail arriving at customers' homes is processed into an electronic document, and its contents, along with the envelope, are made available in the User's e-mail account set up using a trusted profile. Additionally, each shipment is forwarded to the specified address one month after it is made available.

It's worth noting that Poczta Polska processes correspondence into electronic form only upon individual customer request. Those interested in setting up an e-mail account can begin the process by completing the form available here .

The Polish Post Scanning Center meets the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard and holds a certificate of compliance with this standard for document processing and scanning services. Furthermore, the Scanning Center's staff holds security clearances in accordance with the Classified Information Protection Act.

Nearly 5,000 e-mail boxes have been set up under the service so far, and one in ten users has already received their correspondence in electronic form. Please note that the service excludes mail sent by courts and tribunals, prosecutors' offices, other law enforcement agencies, and court bailiffs. Poczta Polska will continue to offer electronic collection of registered mail until September 30th of this year.
