Take advantage of Agrocasco insurance
The coming months will be a time of intensified field work and, consequently, a period when agricultural machinery is at its most heavily used. As a result, the risk of damage to often very expensive equipment increases. One solution that provides financial protection against such emergencies is Agrocasco insurance, available as part of the AGRO Ubezpieczeń offer offered by Pocztowe Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych (Polish Mutual Insurance Company).
Agrocasco provides additional coverage that protects farmers against expenses related to damage to agricultural machinery. This insurance can be compared to comprehensive car insurance, which provides protection in the event of vehicle damage due to accidental events. Agrocasco can be purchased for agricultural tractors, trailers, as well as vehicles and machines that do not require registration and can be driven on public roads (combine harvesters, seeder, balers, seed drills, and others).
Scope of protection
Basic insurance coverage protects against losses resulting from events beyond the control of the Insured or a person performing work for the Insured. This coverage can be further extended to include theft of agricultural machinery and losses resulting from the transportation of agricultural produce.
Advantages of insurance:
- possibility of concluding insurance for the period of field work (3 months) or for the full 12 months;
- insurance for machines up to 25 years old;
- the possibility of insuring all agricultural machinery under one policy;
- discount for machines less than 5 years old;
- additional discount for having an active Safe Farmer policy.
We offer all farmers who purchase Agrocasco and AGRO Ubezpieczenia insurance the opportunity to obtain additional discounts on farm property insurance, farmers' third party liability insurance, and third party liability and comprehensive motor insurance dedicated to farmers.
Only until the end of June 2020, Agrocasco holders can get a special discount of up to 20% on motor insurance for farmers (Safe Farmer's Vehicle).
