A special postage stamp for the opening of Expo 2025 in Japan

On the occasion of Expo 2025 in Osaka, Poczta Polska prepared a special philatelic emission that is an artistic contribution to the promotion of Poland as an innovative, open and full of creative energy. The broadcast was created in cooperation with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).

The emission includes: postage stamp, collector's envelope on the first day of circuit (FDC) and occasional date stamp. The stamp presents a modern block of the Polish pavilion, inspired by waves spreading on the surface of the water. Its dynamic form symbolizes intellectual and cultural energy that drives the development of our country. All elements of the emission are connected by the motif of "waves of creativity" - an image of creative force that reflects the potential of Poland.

The slogan of Poland's presence at EXPO 2025 - "Poland. Heritage That Drives The Future" / "Poland. Heritage that drives the future" - appears on both the stamp and fdc envelope. It emphasizes the importance of our historical and cultural heritage as a source of contemporary innovations. The whole is complemented by a date stamp, inspired by the sight of the bird's flight pavilion.
