Christmas gifts and collection for those in need at post offices
Poczta Polska (Polish Post) has introduced seasonal products related to Christmas. Post offices have received Christmas cards and vouchers, decorations, books, games and toys, sweets, and accessories for wrapping gifts and preparing the Christmas Eve table. All products are available in many varieties and at various prices. You can also order a personalized letter or video from Santa Claus at post offices or online. The "Pocztowy Dar" Foundation is also collecting donations for those in need.
The seasonal offering, available at Poczta Polska's own branches, includes over 200 new holiday-themed products. These include dozens of card and gift cards with secular and religious themes, decorative items and decorations: gnomes, baubles, pendants, Christmas tree ornaments, and candles. Post offices also offer a wide range of gift ideas for adults, children, and young adults, for St. Nicholas Day or under the Christmas tree: holiday-themed books, children's guides and books, games, art and stationery, creative kits, sweets and tea sets, cosmetics, and various holiday trinkets to brighten up the holiday and winter seasons: mugs with infusers, pens with scented ink, magnetic bookmarks, warm, sparkly hats, and textiles with holiday motifs: tablecloths, table runners, napkins, embroidered towels, and Christmas Eve sets (hay and wafer). For the first time this year, Poczta Polska is also selling products such as holiday-themed candles and LED inserts. This product category sells very well at post offices, not only during All Saints' and All Souls' Days.
At post offices and online (via https://prezenty.poczta-polska.pl/ ), customers can order a code to purchase personalized products from Santa – a paper letter or a video. The letter, printed on decorative paper with Santa's seal and original artwork, is packaged in a decorative envelope and contains greetings and wishes for the recipient, along with gifts (a Good Child Certificate, stickers, and elf postcards). Video versions of Santa's greetings, complete with photos of the recipients, can be ordered for one or more recipients. For Black Friday, the letter and video are available at significantly reduced prices until December 3rd.
A Christmas collection of gifts for those in need has also begun at post offices across Poland. This year, it is being organized by "Pocztowy Dar" (Postal Gift) in collaboration with the Inicjatywa (Initiative), Happy Kids (Happy Kids), Liga Superbohaterów (Superhero League), and the West Pomeranian Family Aid Foundation "Tęcza Serc" (Rainbow of Hearts). Gifts collected at post offices, including sweets, toys, and other items purchased there, will be distributed to local organizations across the country that help children, young people, people with disabilities, and often the elderly and lonely. Last year, thanks to the commitment of Poczta Polska (Polish Post) customers, the value of items donated to those in need exceeded PLN 2.2 million.
The assortment of goods at post offices is divided into year-round and seasonal. The core of the offer remains goods related to postal services and the sending of letters and parcels, such as envelopes, cardboard packaging, and packaging supplies, as well as postcards, postcards, and special occasion cards. Books for adults and children, newspapers, magazines, sweets, beverages, stationery, office supplies, toys, and games are also regularly sold. Select post offices also offer collectibles (philatelic and numismatic) and related items, such as various albums, stamp albums, and magnifying glasses.
You can pay for all products by cash, card or BLIK, and also use the cashback service.
