Insurance for farmers available at thousands of post offices across the country

zdzieszowice_3The insurance offer is available to Poczta Polska customers through a network of 4,600 branches nationwide (including those in smaller towns and rural areas). This year, interest in subsidized agricultural insurance is very high. Most contracts cover hail risk, while the most common crops covered are cereals, rapeseed, and corn.

The Postal Mutual Insurance Company began selling another season of subsidized agricultural insurance in April this year.

One of the advantages of postal insurance is its availability in thousands of locations across the country. Insurance can be purchased in smaller towns or even rural areas, without having to travel to large cities. This includes conveniently purchasing insurance at the nearest Poczta Polska branch (out of 4,600 post offices distributing the insurance offer).

At Poczta Polska branches, you can find support in selecting an optimized insurance offer, including both subsidized agro-insurance and other products available in the insurer's broad portfolio.

In terms of subsidized agricultural insurance from Pocztowy TUW, the highest percentage of customers choose crop protection against hail risk. The most commonly insured crops include:

  • cereals – with the largest number of insurance policies concluded in the following voivodeships: Masurian, Greater Poland, Masovian, Lubusz, Podlaskie;
  • rapeseed – with the most policies in the following voivodeships: Warmian-Masurian, Lublin, Masovian;
  • corn – most often protected in the following voivodeships: Podlaskie, Wielkopolskie, Mazowieckie, Dolnośląskie.

Customers with multiple insurance policies from Pocztowy TUW's dedicated farmer insurance offerings can benefit from attractive discounts. Therefore, while insuring their crops, they can also take advantage of other mandatory and voluntary insurance options at attractive terms: third-party liability insurance for farmers, insurance for farm buildings, Agrocasco insurance for agricultural machinery, insurance for farm property, personal liability insurance, and personal accident insurance (NNW).

It's worth noting that the insurance offer also includes a special "Safe Agricultural Work" product, available to those who make payments to the KRUS (Farmers' Social Insurance Fund) at a post office. This insurance was created to provide financial security for a farmer's family in the event of their death caused by an accident related to farm work.
