Insurance for farmers at every post office
Summer vacation is a time of intense work for farmers. They are exposed to a number of hazardous factors that can cause accidents. Operating machinery, equipment, animals, carrying heavy objects, and performing tasks at heights pose a risk to farmers' health and often even their lives.
To provide financial protection for a farmer's family in the event of death due to an accident related to farm work, the "Safe Agricultural Work" insurance program was created. It is available to those who contribute to the farmers' social security (KRUS) program. They can insure themselves for just 4 PLN for a period of 90 days.
In the event of a covered loss, the insurance pays the insured farmer's family PLN 50,000 in compensation. The insurance covers the death of the insured person resulting from, among other things, a fall, being struck or crushed by objects, being struck, crushed, or bitten by animals, being run over, struck, or caught by a means of transport, or being caught or struck by moving parts of machinery and equipment.
