You can transfer your number to Play at a post office

post office_shield1Since the beginning of July this year, Poczta Polska customers have been able to take advantage of the option to transfer their mobile number to the Play network. This is yet another service – following the sale of starter packs, top-ups, and SIM card registration – that Poczta Polska is launching at post offices for Play.

Number porting to the Play network is available at over 4,500 post offices. Each ported number will be registered as a prepaid offer. This offer is available only to individual customers. The number porting service expands the existing offering for Poczta Polska customers.

To transfer any number to Play, simply submit a single application at your chosen post office. The process takes just a few minutes, and all you need is a phone number with the number you want to transfer and an ID card, or for foreigners, a passport, permanent residence card, or EU ID card. The customer submitting the application provides an email address where they will receive confirmation of the number transfer.

The phone numbers of subscribers and MIX subscribers are transferred upon the expiration of their contract with their current provider. For prepaid plans, the transfer can be completed as early as the day after submitting the application.

In 2019, Poczta Polska registered over 44,000 prepaid cards for Play. The total number of registered cards reached nearly 0.5 million. This year, by the end of June, we had registered nearly 150,000 SIM cards, over 70% of which were Play network cards.
